Motif gallery
Pick a motif. We'll fit the shape and sizes to it.
A curated library of motifs for the printed 2 mm Proteluna Design protector. Open a motif in Studio, enter the shape and the finished sizes, and check the resulting crop in the technical preview before you order.
Categories
Start with a mood, not an endless list.
Below is a cross-section of the library, split into four groups. The complete list, with filters, search and a preview in your shape, is in Studio.
The previews in the tiles are unified to the same format so they can be compared. The actual crop for your shape and size is calculated in Studio.
Marble and stone
The calm grain of stone.
Marble and stone patterns tie a work corner together, or cover a worn top, without making the room feel noisy.
Botanical and folk
Flowers, leaves and folk patterns.
From delicate meadow flowers to bolder folk designs. Patterns of this kind tend to be sensitive to the crop - the technical preview shows you where the motif ends at the edge.
Geometric and abstract
Lines, circles and smooth gradients.
More graphic motifs work well where the protector is meant to read as a feature of its own - on a work desk, a sideboard or a coffee table.
Children's
Motifs for a children's table.
We will publish the children's collection in the gallery only once it is complete and approved. We don't want to put samples here that would still change in Studio.
In the meantime, have a look at the Proteluna Kids page, where we explain what is different about a children's table when choosing the shape and the sizes. The current range of motifs is always in Studio.
A check before you order
You check the final crop and placement in the technical preview.
In the gallery you see a motif in a uniform tile format. The actual crop depends on the shape and finished sizes you enter. So Studio projects the motif into your outline and the technical preview shows what stays in frame, how the pattern is rotated and where it ends at the edge.
The technical preview is a checking tool - it is where you confirm the shape, the sizes and the placement of the motif before adding it to the cart.
Shapes at launch
Every motif adapts to the five supported shapes.
You pick the shape, enter the finished sizes you want to receive, and Studio fits the motif to the outline. Do not add a compensation of your own.
With a rounded rectangle you enter the corner radius. With a capsule shape the curve is not entered - it is derived automatically as half the width. See the measuring guide →
Colour and printing
A screen is not a colour proof.
You browse the motifs on a display with its own brightness, calibration and colour space. The shades of the finished print may therefore differ slightly from the preview. The preview is there for choosing a motif and checking the crop and proportions - not for an exact shade match.
The display
Every monitor and phone shows colour differently. What you see may differ from what we see.
Printing onto the material
The print is made on a flexible 2 mm material, not on paper. The substrate and the finish affect the final impression.
The light in the room
Daylight and artificial light both change how a shade and a reflection are perceived on the finished surface.
If you need certainty about a particular shade, write to us before you order. Go to contact →

Common questions
Questions about choosing a motif.
Is the whole library of motifs in the gallery?
No. Here we show a cross-section by category, so it can be looked through quickly. The complete list, with filters, search and a preview in your shape, is in Studio.
Will the motif adapt to my shape and size?
Yes. The motif is projected into the outline you enter. With a print, the aspect ratio, the direction of the pattern and the crop all matter - you check all of it in the technical preview before adding it to the cart.
Why doesn't the tile in the gallery look exactly like the finished protector?
The tiles are unified to the same format so that motifs can be compared side by side. The actual crop for your shape and size is calculated in Studio.
Will the printed colours match my screen?
They can differ slightly. Screen brightness and calibration, the material and the light in the room all affect how a shade is perceived. If a specific shade is critical for you, contact us before ordering.
How much does a motif cost?
You will see an estimated product price in Studio before the cart - once you have entered the shape, the finished sizes and the finish. We don't work with stock sizes, so the price is calculated for your configuration. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
I want a motif I can't see here.
Have a look at the whole library in Studio first - it is wider than this selection. If you still can't find what you are looking for, write to us and let's talk about what is realistically possible.
You pick the motif here. You confirm the rest in Studio.
