What happens here every day
Three situations a protector is made for.
The cup that sits there all evening
Coffee in the morning, tea in the evening, a glass in between. The protector helps separate the table top from the base of the cup and from the drips around it. Set a hot drink down on a saucer or on a suitable separate mat.
The remote, a book, your phone
On a coffee table, things are moved around all the time. The protector helps limit their direct contact with the surface. That way you can wipe up a spill before it reaches the wood or a joint.
Visitors and a quick tidy-up
Glasses, bowls and set-down odds and ends pile up quickly. Once your guests have left, you wipe the protector with a soft damp cloth. When you move it, lift it - do not drag it across the edge of the table.

The limits we tell you before you order.
A surface protector is a practical product. We would rather tell you what it does not do than have you find out at home.
Hot drinks and hot containers
We make no heat-resistance claim. Do not place pots, pans, kettles or heated appliances directly on the protector. Set a cup of hot drink down on a saucer or on a separate heat-resistant mat.
Glass tops and high gloss
Coffee tables often have a glass or high-gloss top. Under a smooth transparent material, optical patches can appear on such a surface. The surface type does not change the price or the production. If you are not sure how it will look on a glass top, contact us before you order.
Measure circles and rounded corners precisely
For a circle you enter the diameter; for a rounded rectangle you also enter the corner radius. A guess on a curve shows along the whole perimeter. If you are not sure, use the printable 1:1 scale from the measuring guide.
You will see the edge when seated low
You sit low at a coffee table and the edge is almost at eye level. The clear finish is therefore not invisible - the 2 mm edge and a slight sheen are visible. We show product photos taken close up, not only the view from above.
Cleaning without abrasives
We make no chemical-resistance claim. Clean with a soft damp cloth and the cleaning product named in the approved care instructions. Abrasive sponges, scrapers and strong solvents can damage the surface of the protector.
We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed. The surface type does not change the thickness or the price. If you are in doubt, do not carry on guessing - get in touch.

Measure the surface first, then pick the shape.
You enter the finished size you want to receive. For a circle you measure the diameter; for a rounded rectangle, the corner radius as well. Do not add anything to it or take anything off.

My table is round. Can you make a circle?
Yes. We make the rectangle, the square, the circle, the rounded rectangle and the capsule (stadium) shape. For a circle you enter the diameter of the finished size you want to receive. Do not add anything to it or take anything off.
Can I put a hot cup on it?
We make no heat-resistance claim. Use a saucer or a separate heat-resistant mat. Do not place a kettle, a pot or a heated appliance directly on the protector.
My table has a glass top. Is that a problem?
Glass and high gloss behave differently from wood under a smooth transparent material, and optical patches can appear. We make both finishes for all surface types. If you are not sure, contact us before you order.
What will I see before I order?
You will see a technical drawing with the shape, the finished size and the position of the print, and a gallery of product photos of pieces we have made. Where a shot is set in a room, the room is an illustration - check the shape, the size and the print on the technical drawing.
Can I use both Clear and Design?
Yes. We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed - you choose directly in Studio.
Should I enter a slightly smaller size?
Enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add a compensation of your own.
What if I'm not sure about the surface or the corner?
Do not carry on guessing. Use the measuring guide or write to us - we will look at it with you.
Is the preview accurate?
The drawing shows your shape, the finished sizes and, with a print, where the motif sits - that is what you use to check the configuration. The gallery holds product photographs of a finished protector.
