Meals and spills
Breakfast, lunch and dinner all happen on the same tabletop. The protector helps separate the table surface from plates, glasses and spilled drinks. Wipe spills as soon as you can, so liquid does not sit at the edge of the protector.
Work and homework at the table
The table often doubles as a work surface. A laptop, notebooks, pens and chargers sit on the same top as dinner. With the protector underneath, you get one continuous surface that you can wipe down quickly before a meal.
Keys, decorations and moving things around
A vase, a candle holder, keys and the shopping you have just put down take turns in the same spot during the day. Lift items with a rough or sharp base rather than dragging them across the surface.

The limits we tell you before you order.
A surface protector is a practical product. We would rather tell you what it does not do than have you find out at home.
Hot cookware only on a separate heat-resistant mat
Do not place pots, pans, oven trays or heated appliances directly on the protector. Use a separate heat-resistant mat. We make no heat-resistance claim for the material.
Gloss or glass tabletops
Under a smooth clear material, gloss and glass tops can show optical patterning and reflections. The surface type does not change the price or the production. If you are not sure how the protector will look on a gloss top, contact us before you order.
Cleaning without abrasives or solvents
Use a soft damp cloth and the product named in the care guide for your variant. Abrasive sponges, scrapers and strong solvents can damage the protector. We make no chemical-resistance claim.
Table linen changes how the contact looks
Tablecloths, runners and fabric placemats under or on top of the protector change how it lies against the table and how it looks in the light. For an even appearance, leave the area under the protector clear.
We do not promise slip resistance
How the protector behaves on the tabletop depends on the surface and the size. We make no universal slip-resistance claim.
We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed. The surface type does not change the thickness or the price. If you are in doubt, do not carry on guessing - get in touch.
Shape and measuring
Measure the surface first, then pick the shape.
You enter the finished size you want to receive. For a circle you measure the diameter; for a rounded rectangle, the corner radius as well. Do not add anything to it or take anything off.

Can I put a hot pot or an oven tray on the protector?
No. Always place hot cookware on a separate heat-resistant mat. This is a flexible 2 mm PVC protector and we make no heat-resistance claim for it.
Does the protector cover the table edge as well?
The protector covers the top surface, not the vertical edge. If your table has a pronounced bevel or an overhang, measure the top up to its edge and use the technical drawing to check exactly where the protector ends.
We have an extendable table. Which size should I enter?
Enter the finished size of the area you want to protect - most often the table in its closed position. The extended state can be handled as a separate piece. If you are not sure, do not carry on with a guess; write to us.
Will the print cover the wood grain?
Yes, Design changes how the surface looks. If you want to keep the wood visible, choose Clear, the clear finish. Both are made to the same confirmed shape and finished size.
Can I use both Clear and Design?
Yes. We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed - you choose directly in Studio.
Should I enter a slightly smaller size?
Enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add a compensation of your own.
What if I'm not sure about the surface or the corner?
Do not carry on guessing. Use the measuring guide or write to us - we will look at it with you.
Is the preview accurate?
The drawing shows your shape, the finished sizes and, with a print, where the motif sits - that is what you use to check the configuration. The gallery holds product photographs of a finished protector.
