Drops of water, coffee beans and everyday preparation leave marks on the worktop. Design your protector for a separate preparation zone beside the appliance. Clear keeps the surface visible; Design adds a curated motif. Both finishes are made from flexible 2 mm PVC, and we make them to the shape and finished size you confirm.

What happens here every day
Three situations a protector is made for.
Morning preparation
Grinding, dosing and filling the water tank. Beans, ground coffee and drops of water all end up beside the appliance. The protector marks out the zone where this happens and helps separate it from the worktop.
Putting down cups and the milk jug
A cup with a wet base, a milk jug, a teaspoon. Things get put down quickly, and not always where they should go. Put a hot milk jug or a freshly rinsed portafilter on a separate heat-resistant mat.
Clearing up after coffee
You wipe the zone in one pass with a soft damp cloth, instead of working around the edges and joints of the worktop. Wipe up spilled milk, syrup and water as soon as you can.

What to know first
The limits we tell you before you order.
A surface protector is a practical product. We would rather tell you what it does not do than have you find out at home.
Not directly under a hot or heated appliance
Do not place the protector under a hot or heated appliance at all - keep the appliance off the protector entirely. A coffee machine, a kettle or a cup warmer does not belong directly on the protector. Design it for the preparation zone beside the appliance.
Hot items belong on a mat
We make no heat-resistance claim for the protector. Put a hot milk jug, kettle, pan or a just-rinsed portafilter on a separate heat-resistant mat, not directly on the protector.
Descalers and cleaning products can damage the material
Descaling solutions, milk-line cleaners, disinfectants and solvents can damage the surface of the protector. We make no chemical-resistance claim. Do not leave any product standing on the protector, and wipe off residue as soon as you can.
This is not a waterproof layer
The protector is not a seal and not a drip tray. Moisture must not stay shut in between the surface and the protector for long periods. Wipe up drops as soon as you can, and lift the protector occasionally to dry underneath.
Gloss, glass and lacquer behave differently
Glass, high gloss and some lacquers behave differently under a smooth transparent material and can produce optical patterning. The surface type does not change the price or the production. If you are not sure, contact us before you order.
We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed. The surface type does not change the thickness or the price. If you are in doubt, do not carry on guessing - get in touch.
Shape and measuring
Measure the surface first, then pick the shape.
You enter the finished size you want to receive. For a circle you measure the diameter; for a rounded rectangle, the corner radius as well. Do not add anything to it or take anything off.

Can I put the protector directly under the coffee machine?
No, not at all - keep the machine off the protector. Design the protector for a separate preparation zone beside the appliance. If you are not sure, get in touch with us before you order.
Can I put a hot cup or milk jug on it?
We make no heat-resistance claim, because we have not verified it. Put hot vessels on a separate heat-resistant mat.
What if I spill descaler or milk-line cleaner?
Wipe it off as soon as you can with a soft damp cloth and dry the area. These products can damage the material, and we make no chemical-resistance claim. Do not use abrasive sponges or scrapers.
How do I measure the zone when the worktop is longer?
Measure only the area you want to cover, and enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add anything to it or take anything off. You check the shape, finished size and print position on the technical drawing in Studio. Once you finish your design, you will see an estimated price for the product. Shipping is calculated in the Shopify checkout after you enter your address. Studio does not yet show when your order will be dispatched.
Can I use both Clear and Design?
Yes. We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed - you choose directly in Studio.
Should I enter a slightly smaller size?
Enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add a compensation of your own.
What if I'm not sure about the surface or the corner?
Do not carry on guessing. Use the measuring guide or write to us - we will look at it with you.
Is the preview accurate?
The drawing shows your shape, the finished sizes and, with a print, where the motif sits - that is what you use to check the configuration. The gallery holds product photographs of a finished protector.
