A made-to-measure surface protector for the space under a bowl stand or beside the bowls. It is not intended for chewing, licking or as a replacement for a feeding mat. Read the limits of this use before you order; if you are not sure it suits your animal, contact us through the contact form. You choose between Proteluna Clear, a clear finish, and Proteluna Design, which carries a print. Both are made from a flexible 2 mm PVC protector, in the shape and finished size you confirm. Before you order you see a technical drawing with the shape, the finished size and the position of the print, together with a gallery of product photos. Once you finish your design, you will see an estimated price for the product. Shipping is calculated in the Shopify checkout after you enter your address. Studio does not yet show when your order will be dispatched.

What happens here every day
Three situations a protector is made for.
Water and food outside the bowl
While drinking and eating, some of the water and food ends up beside the bowl. A marked-out area defines the place where that happens and helps separate the surface underneath from everyday contact. Wipe up spilt water as soon as you can.
The bowls and the stand move during the day
Your animal pushes the bowl around while eating, and the stand gets lifted when you clean. A made-to-measure protector marks out the area the bowls come back to. We make no slip-resistance claim - this depends on the surface and the size.
Wiping several times a day
You clean the spot by the bowls more often than the rest of the room. Wipe the protector with a soft damp cloth. Now and then lift it and dry the surface underneath as well.

Proteluna Clear lets the colour and grain of the surface come through. Proteluna Design adds a curated motif. Both are made to the shape and sizes you confirm.

The limits we tell you before you order.
A surface protector is a practical product. We would rather tell you what it does not do than have you find out at home.
Not intended for chewing, licking or contact with food
Put both the food and the water in the bowl. The material is not a replacement for a feeding mat and is not intended for direct contact with food. If your animal chews or licks the protector, this use is not suitable for it.
We make no slip-resistance claim
We do not promise that the protector, or the bowl on it, will not move. How the protector behaves depends on the particular surface and the size.
Moisture must not be left trapped under the protector
This is not a waterproof tray and not long-term protection against moisture. Wipe up water as soon as you can and lift the protector from time to time, so that damp is not left shut in between the surface and the protector.
No antibacterial or hygienic treatment
The material has no antibacterial treatment and does not replace ordinary cleaning. Use a soft damp cloth and the product named in the approved care instructions for your variant. No abrasive sponges, scrapers or strong solvents.
Claws, metal bowls and sharp edges leave marks
Dragging a metal bowl, a sharp edge on the stand or claws can leave scratches on the surface of the protector. Bear this in mind when you choose the spot and the size; if you are not sure, contact us before you order.
We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed. The surface type does not change the thickness or the price. If you are in doubt, do not carry on guessing - get in touch.
Shape and measuring
Measure the surface first, then pick the shape.
You enter the finished size you want to receive. For a circle you measure the diameter; for a rounded rectangle, the corner radius as well. Do not add anything to it or take anything off.

Can my animal eat directly off the protector?
No. Put both the food and the water in the bowl. The protector marks out the area under the stand or beside the bowls. It is not intended for direct contact with food, or as a replacement for a feeding mat.
Will it stop the bowl from sliding?
We make no slip-resistance claim. The protector marks out the area, but it does not hold the bowl. How it behaves depends on the surface and the size.
What size should I enter?
Measure the whole area you want to mark out - including the space where water and food end up. You enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add anything to it or take anything off it.
How do I clean the protector by the bowls?
With a soft damp cloth and the product named in the approved care instructions for your variant. Do not use abrasive sponges, scrapers or strong solvents. Now and then lift the protector and dry both it and the surface underneath.
Can I use both Clear and Design?
Yes. We make both Clear and Design for all the surface types listed - you choose directly in Studio.
Should I enter a slightly smaller size?
Enter the finished size you want to receive. Do not add a compensation of your own.
What if I'm not sure about the surface or the corner?
Do not carry on guessing. Use the measuring guide or write to us - we will look at it with you.
Is the preview accurate?
The drawing shows your shape, the finished sizes and, with a print, where the motif sits - that is what you use to check the configuration. The gallery holds product photographs of a finished protector.
